On the 3rd of May 2009 La
Chapelle des Fougeretz celebrated 10 years of being twinned with Kalchreuth
in Germany, and 15 years with Lechlade-on-Thames in England. To
mark this anniversary, the marie commissioned two pieces, one for each
town, to be presented on the day to the representatives from both towns.
JD Towner's designs
represent the Brittany triskal, surrounded by the national flags of each
of the three towns, and mounted in oak frames.
